Winnipeg, 7-11 June 2027
Models in Population Dynamics, Ecology and Evolution 2027 (MPDEE’27), Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, 7-11 June 2027.
The Models in Population Dynamics, Ecology and Evolution (MPDEE) 2027 conference will take place in Winnipeg (Manitoba, Canada) from June 7-11, 2027.
Synopsis
The meeting continues the annual conference series (MPDE/MPDEE) which started in 2007. Specific themes that will be discussed and explore include, but are not limited to:
- Regime shift detection using bifurcation theory and finding reliable early warning signals.
- Progress in mathematical theory of epidemics and infectious diseases.
- Population dynamics in cell and developmental biology, and cancer
- Mathematics of complex dynamical systems (including non-autonomous systems), bifurcations and catastrophes
- Mathematical theory of evolutionary ecology
- Progress in mathematical theory of ecological pattern formation; synthesis between theory and data
- Data science for ecological applications; using big data in models in ecology and evolution
- Uncertainty, predictability and long-living transients
Honourary Speaker
- Robert D. Holt (University of Florida)
Confirmed Plenary speakers
- Kim Cuddington (University of Waterloo, Canada)
- Troy Day (Queen’s Univeristy, Canada)
