This is a list of activities organised by the group. This does not include activities organised outside UM unless there is a strong connection to the group. It also does not give the details of seminars run locally, which can be found on another page.
Ongoing
- All group faculty members and trainees are part of the Maud Menten Institute (MMI), with Stéphanie Portet being co-director of MMI with Mark Lewis (UVic).
- Several times a year, we have an MMI speaker visiting UM or we attend remotely an MMI presentation at UVic. In both cases, we meet in 225 Saint Paul’s College.

Past
- Stéphanie Portet was the lead organiser of the 3MC-PIMS-IDMS-ICMS Summer School on Quantitative molecular and cellular biology at UM in June 2025 (website), with Kang-Ling Liao and Margherita Ferrari teaching some of the courses.
- Julien Arino, Kang-Ling Liao and Stéphanie Portet co-organised the Computational and Mathematical Population Dynamics 6 (CMPD6) Conference at UM in May 2023 (website).
- Julien Arino and Stéphanie Portet co-organised the 2007 International Conference of the French-speaking Society for Theoretical Biology (Société francophone de biologie théorique) at UM in June 2007.
